Our Story

Sylvia was invited to share her love for cheesecake on the shows “Empowering Voices” and “Suncoast View” that aired on ABC 7. Even though she was nervous she sailed through the interview with stride, speaking of the cheesecakes she loves making.

Sylvia is a full-time vendor at the Bradenton Market. You can find her in downtown Bradenton on 3rd Ave aka “Family Row” every Saturday from 9am-2pm sharing her heavenly cheesecakes with others just like she always wanted. She enjoys the fun atmosphere and interacting with the customers. Stop by to try a slice!

Sylvia’s Heavenly Cheesecakes was opened in 1999. Sylvia’s love for baking started when she made cheesecakes for friends and family. Eventually, she began bringing samples into the office where she worked. The feedback was tremendous and soon Sylvia’s Heavenly Cheesecakes was born. Over the years, she expanded her menu and added flavors like chocolate swirl, key lime, apple crisp, and her unique “fantasy cheesecake”. Sylvia’s passion is and has been for cheesecakes and to share them with the world.
